About the Artist

Horses have been a lifetime interest and are what originally drove Arizona artist Carole Andreen-Harris to pick up a brush almost 30 years ago. She has extended her interest to many other subjects since then, but horses remain her primary focus. Learning and improving keeps her challenged; she is constantly striving to top each piece with the next piece.

About this Painting

The ethereal mustang mare depicted in Natural Beauty was rescued from a ‘kill buyer’ by Heart of Tucson, a Tucson, Arizona horse rescue group. When Andreen-Harris heard that the title of our event was Horse HeART, she knew Natural Beauty was meant to be in the exhibit. We agree!
